When studying the changes in the physical parameters of a multicomponent methane-air mixture on moisture content, the real compositions of mixtures recorded in the degassing system of the mine were used. It was established that with increasing humidity, the density of the mixture decreases by 0.15-0.2%, and the viscosity by 1-3% compared to the "dry" mixture (for different component compositions), which affects the dynamic transportation processes, in particular the flow rate and pressure loss. Thus, under the condition of a constant pressure drop, with increasing humidity, the flow rate may increase by 0.1-0.3%, and the pressure loss decreases by 1.35%. The developed computer model allows to track the zones of mixture stratification during its transportation and to minimize the probability of formation of local zones of increased explosion hazard. A simplified simulation scheme for calculating the parameters of safe transportation of a multicomponent methane-air mixture during coalbed methane extraction has been formed, which for the first time takes into account the humidity value of the transported mixture. The obtained results contribute to improving the safety of transportation of a multicomponent methane-air mixture, which has a positive environmental and social effect.
