The aim of the work is to develop a methodology for determining safety and quality indicators of cosmetic products for make-up on a fatty wax basis. To achieve the set goal, the following tasks are defined in the work: – sampling for research and determination of organoleptic indicators; – determination of acid number; – determination of carbonyl number; – determination of hydrogen value; – determination of microbiological indicators; – to develop a standard of the State Enterprise “KYIVSTANDARTMETROLOGY” for determining the safety and quality of cosmetic products for makeup on a fat-wax basis. Research methods – organoleptic, physicochemical, microbiological. The research was conducted on the basis of the scientific and testing laboratory of the State Enterprise “KYIVVOBLSTANDARTMETROLOGY”. The developed methodology applies to determining the safety and quality indicators of cosmetic products for makeup on a fat-wax basis.
