The object of study - oil and gas prospective structures of the southeastern part of the Dnipro-Donetsk depression and the junction zone of the Dnipro graben and the open Donbas. Purpose - scientific substantiation of the theoretical and methodological foundations of geodynamic zoning of territories for the forecast of hydrocarbon (HC) prospecting by aerospace geological methods and identification of oil and gas prospective objects in the junction zone of the Dnipro graben and the open Donbas using remote sensing data. Research methods: combining aerospace, morphostructural, geological and geophysical data to search for structures with oil and gas prospects in the junction zone of the Dnipro graben and the open Donbas. A scheme of geodynamic activity in the area of the Dnipro graben and open Donbas articulation, a neotectonic map of the work area with varying degrees of activity, anomalous oil and gas prospects in the field of scattered waves based on regional seismic profiles, an analysis of the thermal field based on MODIS-LST data and the identification of thermal anomalies that coincide with predictive morphostructures identified from satellite imagery. We study landscape elements that can be a manifestation of not only exogenous processes but also deep Earth dynamics. Particular attention is paid to the neotectonic zoning of the territory, as well as to the inheritance of the geological development of regional and detailed structures, which is substantiated by the interpretation of geophysical and morphometric information.
