The purpose of the study was to determine changes in the cancer incidence rate among liquidators of 1986–1987, evacuees from the exclusion zone, residents of the most radioactive contaminated territories depending on factors: age, sex, follow-up period 35 years after the Chernobyl accident/ Research methods are program-targeted planning, epidemiological, statistical, program-mathematical. The incidence rates for all forms of cancer exceed the national level only in liquidators of years 1986–1987, whose standardized incidence ratio (SIR) was 106.6% (95% confidence interval CI: 104.9–108.3). The observed expected incidence rate of thyroid cancer in liquidators significantly exceeds the expected one in 4.5 times, in evacuees - 3.8 times, in residents of radioactively contaminated territories - 1.3 times. The incidence rate of lymphoma and leukemia in liquidators and evacuees is 1.5 times higher than the national level. Breast cancer incidence in female liquidators is 1.6 times higher than the expected level. In the residents of the contaminated territories and female evacuees the breast cancer incidence rate during the entire observation period had an increasing trend and reached the national level , but did not exceed it.
