The theoretical and empirical results of the study of the negative impact of difficult life circumstances on personality development in the conditions of a full-scale Russian invasion have been summarized. Thanks to the developed methodological tools for studying the relationship between an unfavorable social development situation and the personal characteristics of children and adolescents in difficult life circumstances, the factors, components and structure of children's socialization in accordance with the specifics of difficult life circumstances have been identified. The features of the Self-Image, personality autonomy; adaptability of thinking; patterns of violations of the forecast function, motivation and reflection, and the direction of value orientations of adolescents in difficult life circumstances have been determined. A holistic systemic model of providing psychological assistance to children and adults in war conditions has been developed; a set of psychological technologies for working with impaired autonomous personality functions; a program aimed at the formation of socially acceptable value orientations; development of reflection and correction of motivation, the author's model of trauma-focused psychotherapy with an emphasis on the development of mentalization.
