The breeding material is studied using field, laboratory and mathematical and statistical methods of evaluation. Results of the work and their novelty. The differentiation of corn lines by the size of starch grains was established. The information obtained will allow for a quick and targeted analysis of the breeding material simultaneously by the size of starch granules and other valuable economic characteristics and on this basis to select the best lines and hybrids of corn.
