To achieve the goal, the following tasks were defined: - to study the processes of functioning and development of a young family over the past decade; - to assess the correlations between family and extra-family value orientations of young citizens; real and desired models of family behavior of young people; the needs of different categories of young families and the possibilities of their implementation; - to study the conditions for obtaining education, work and employment, social security, the organization of services, institutions and establishments whose activities are aimed at providing various services to young families and ensuring opportunities for combining professional and family life; - to analyze the state and dynamics of changes in the regulatory, legal and organizational support of state support for young families in Ukraine; - to summarize foreign experience in the field of ensuring a balance between work and family, consider the possibilities of its use in the domestic practice of state support for young families; - to analyze the possibilities of forming an integrated system of social support for different categories of young families at the community level; - to determine and substantiate the priorities and strategic directions of implementing state family policy. The object of the study is the processes of functioning and development of a young family in Ukraine. The subject of the study is the conditions and mechanisms for ensuring the harmonization of professional and family responsibilities of young citizens.
