The goal is to create a conceptual model of a multifunctional plasma device of hybrid type and to analyze models and methods of multi-criteria evaluation of the efficiency of complex technological systems. Methods - information and analytical analysis, experimental methods, system analysis, decision theory. An analysis of scientific, technical, and patent information on the use of plasma ion-beam-type devices was carried out, and current issues requiring additional research were identified. A program of experimental research has been developed, and a model of a vacuum-arc plasma device with a central arrangement of initiating electrodes has been developed and manufactured. The analysis of modern models and methods of multi-criteria assessment of the efficiency of technological systems is carried out. The problematic issues and difficulties of the feasibility study of technological developments are considered. It is determined that one of the main problems of complex assessment is the problem of building an adequate criterion-target model of the system of preferences of the decision maker. The existing approaches to evaluating the effectiveness of developments are considered. The prospects of using methods of fuzzy logic are shown and the need for further development of a fuzzy approach to modeling technological systems is recognized.
