There are publications that indicate damage to the auditory and voice-forming systems, but they are rare and contradictory. Therefore, the study of changes in the auditory and olfactory analyzers, the vocal apparatus, as well as extraaural manifestations in COVID-19 is of great scientific and practical interest. We analyzed the state of the auditory and olfactory analyzer, vocal apparatus, extraaural manifestations (state of cerebral hemodynamics and CNS) in patients with COVID-19, taking into account the severity and course of the disease. We developed ways to prevent the progression and development of significant disorders of auditory, olfactory and vestibular function after COVID-19, improved the prediction and examination of such disorders. During the research period, 228 people who had recovered from COVID-19 were examined. 15 healthy normal-hearing people served as controls. A total of 243 people were examined. In patients who had recovered from COVID-19, lesions of the auditory system were manifested mainly in the form of perceptual disorders of varying degrees. An examination of the olfactory zone of the nasal mucosa was performed in patients who had impaired olfactory function as a result of COVID-19. An instrumental assessment of the state of the vocal apparatus was performed in patients who had recovered from COVID-19. A study of cerebral hemodynamics revealed a decrease in pulse blood filling, difficulty in venous outflow, especially in the vertebrobasilar basin, which is a prerequisite for damage to the vascular and sensory systems. According to EEG, a violation of the bioelectric activity of the brain was detected. Product Description popup.authors Bezeha Bohdan M. Volkova Tetiana P. Kozak Mykola S. Matiukhina Olena L.
