The construction and practical implementation of information channels in systems of monitoring and diagnostics of electrotechnical equipment is theoretically substantiated. Mathematical models and methods of analysis of physical processes in electric machines and engines of own needs of TPPs, CHPs and HPPs in the presence of defects and assessment of their resource have been developed. The developed algorithmic software enables the operation of a multi-level system for diagnosing electrical equipment using Smart Grid technology. The relevance of the obtained results is due to the fact that in the post-war period one of the main tasks of the country's reconstruction should be the restoration of its United energy system, including the generating one.
