Purpose of the work: study of the geodynamic processes evolution in the Meso-Cenozoic stage of development of the area around the Ukrainian Antarctic Station "Akademik Vernadsky". Research methods: the work summarizes the results of previous domestic and foreign studies of the Antarctic Peninsula and the area of the Ukrainian Antarctic Station "Akademik Vernadsky". The analysis of the modern underwater relief was carried out using geomorphological and morphometric methods aimed at establishing lineaments as a reflection of deep faults in the earth's crust. The rocks were studied by petrographic and mineralogical analysis. The study of these samples allows us to clarify in more detail the stages of magmatic activity and tectonic evolution in this region. As a result of the work, morphometric diagrams of the study area were constructed with the identification of the main lineaments, geoblocks, and a model of the development of the territory in the past with the stages of formation and movements of individual blocks was also proposed.
