The effect of 3% NaCl solution on reducing the fatigue resistance characteristics of as-welded and treated by HFMI joints of 09G2S and 15KHSND steels was established. The effectiveness of using HFMI technology to increase the fatigue life of welded joints in a 3% NaCl solution at the manufacturing stage and after long-term operation (with accumulated fatigue damage) was studied. The possibility of using HFMI technology to increase the fatigue life of welded joints in a 3% NaCl solution after the initiation of surface fatigue cracks in the weld toe was investigated. The peculiarities of the structure and chemical composition of the metal in various combinations of EDSA with chromium and HFMP were revealed, the advantages of using the combined processing of HFMI+ EDSA in comparison with processing only with HFMI were shown.
