The purpose of the work is to develop and improve urban planning, architectural and planning, and construction and structural measures in design to ensure a decent standard of living and safety of human life in the conditions of design and reconstruction of capital construction facilities Research methods - field observations, instrumental measurements, quantitative theoretical calculations; transition from qualitative to quantitative indicators; statistical methods, dialectical method, design work and author's supervision over the implementation of developments. Results of the research: Improvement of the simulation model of quantitative assessment and calculation of harmful acoustic impact on humans in urban development; a method for examining the technical condition of reinforced concrete reinforcement of gravity-type dams using geophysical methods has been developed; classifications of gardens and parks have been developed, the direction of creating landscape design of territories of past years has been developed; a classification of buried buildings has been developed; characteristic features of spatial planning and constructive solutions of buried buildings using "green" technologies have been identified. Forecast assumptions regarding the development of the research object - for greater efficiency of work in the future, the direction, priority and content of the conducted scientific research in residential development with its surroundings should be somewhat adjusted.
