Analyzed the content of the current regulatory framework governing specialized secondary education in various types of educational institutions, including the following documents: Conceptual Foundations for Reforming Specialized Secondary Education (Academic Lyceums) (2024); Laws of Ukraine: "On Education" (2017), "On Complete General Secondary Education" (2020), "On Professional Pre-Higher Education" (2019); State Standard for Specialized Secondary Education (2024); Regulations on Lyceums (2021); State Standard for Vocational (Professional-Technical) Education (2021), and other related documents. Reviewed contemporary scientific approaches to the study of specialized secondary education and identified key directions for research. Determined the research methodology. Examined Western European and North American experiences in the successful implementation of specialized secondary education. Identified current trends in transforming the forms, methods, and means of instruction for students of specialized secondary education. Investigated the state of specialized secondary education in Ukrainian educational institutions as a didactic issue, particularly under conditions of martial law. Assessed the didactic potential of various types of educational institutions in Ukraine for providing specialized secondary education, taking into account their orientations and specificities.
