In large cities of Ukraine: Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odesa, Lviv, etc., there is a steady trend of construction in remote areas of multi-storey residential complexes with adjacent (sectional) buildings and structures (hereinafter, structures), including those of different height and functional purpose (residential buildings, parking, shopping and entertainment centers, etc.). On the basis of field observations and numerical studies, soil base models have been improved and justified for modeling and calculation of large-sized foundations of multi-storey structures located next to each other in the "soil - foundations - structures" system, which allows predicting the adequate behavior of the system during construction and operation for the design of rational and reliable foundations structures
