Growth cells have been developed for obtaining single-crystal samples by HTHP-growing of diamond single crystals in the region of thermodynamic stability; the compositions of growth systems have been optimized for obtaining crystals of up to 15 – 20 carats based on Fe-Ni, Fe-Co and Fe-Co-Mg solvents. The kinetics of crystallization of structurally perfect samples has been investigated and the features of the formation of crystals of the cuboctahedral habit with a ratio of the development area of the faces of the cube and octahedron 70/30 ÷80/20 % have been studied.
