The purpose of the study is to establish, on the basis of the developed classification of biotopes, the patterns of their topological distribution within the geobotanical districts of Ukraine, which will reflect the ß-biotopic diversity. Research methods are field: reconnaissance, detailed route, ecological-coenotic profiling, descriptions of geobotanical sites. Theoretical approaches and methods for the isolation and classification of sigma-syntaxons (ecomers) are characterized. Topological patterns of distribution, the complexity of the structure of different types of biotopes within typical landscapes of geobotanical districts of Ukraine are studied. The nature of the correlation between changes in score indicators and absolute ecological (in particular, climatic) indicators as a basis for forecasting and modeling the impact of climate has been established. The amplitude and limiting values of ecofactors have been assessed, the nature of the nonlinear dependence between the values of ecofactors and types of biotopes in the regional aspect and hiatus points has been established.
