It has been shown that the characteristic average cut thickness are 15–30 μm for a single-edged cutter and 20–50 μm for a radius bevel tool under other identical conditions. It has been established that during machining with such tools under impact loads, the amplitudes of the vibration movements decrease by 1.75 times with an increase in the angle of inclination of the cutting edge from 0 to 60°. It has been established that the presence of an impulse load during impact machining of hardened steels significantly increases the probability of brittle fracture of tools with an 30° inclination, while the use of 40–50° angles during impact cutting, on the contrary, significantly reduces the probability of brittle fracture. Testing under impact processing conditions of tools equipped with a composite sintered from coated powders including 5%(wt) Ti showed that their performance significantly exceeds the performance of tools equipped with BL composites, and their wear resistance exceeds the wear resistance of tools equipped with Borsinite PCBN (BH).
