Agricultural lands are located near environmentally hazardous facilities (EHFs). The value of volumetric magnetic susceptibility is proportional to the content of magnetite-containing particles in the soil. The criteria for assessing the environmental condition of soils include geodynamic natural (1) and technogenic (2) factors. The analysis of the chemical composition of ash obtained from plants sampled near a spoil heap showed that the content of trace elements in the ash is 4–7 times lower than in the soils on which the plants grew. This is due to the low mobility of these elements in the soil. The breach of the Kakhovka Reservoir dam affected the condition of the Kresivske Reservoir, which borders the arable fields of the Kryvyi Rih district. The NDTI indicator has increased over the winter months during the past five years. Correlation and regression analysis revealed that the NDTI is weakly dependent on the water surface temperature. A comprehensive assessment of land suitability for agricultural activities within the Kryvyi Rih district allowed the classification of the lands based on their suitability levels.
