It was established that the reserves of productive moisture in the meter layer of soil were at the level of 165−187.3 mm. Such reserves of productive moisture provided high yields of winter wheat 7.6–7.49 t/ha, barley 4.7–4.9 t/ha, and grain corn 8.5–9.3 t/ha in the conditions of the year. The structure of sown areas has been optimized, in which winter wheat should occupy no more than 30%, peas - 10-20%, sugar beets - up to 20%, corn for grain - no more than 30%, soybeans - 10-20%, sunflower - 10-20% or in a five-field crop rotation ½ field, fodder crops - 10-30%. Saturation of the crop rotation with corn up to 40%, early cereals increases (Kee) from 2.6 to 3.9. For farms with developed livestock farming for the production of fodder grain, milk and heifers, 5- and 10-field crop rotations with saturation with cereals of 70-80% have been improved, including corn 20−30%, barley and perennial grasses 10−20%, which provide a harvest of forage grain 3.97−4.03 t/ha, feed units 9.23−9.51 t/ha, digestible protein 0.65−0.63 t/ha. Net profit 21812−23173 UAH/ha, with profitability 96−104% (var.13, 10). In five-field crop rotations with a saturation of 60−80% cereals, including 20% corn, there was a higher yield of feed units - 7.10−7.62 t/ha than in crop rotations with early cereals - 6.01−6.20 t/ha, and the highest in crop rotations with two fields of corn (var. 10.16a) 9.51−10.37 t/ha, digestible protein 0.63−0.66 t/ha, with a cost price of feed unit 2960−2367 UAH/t, grain 5854−4545 UAH/t/ha, profit 23174−24213 UAH/ha and profitability 104−99%. The most effective three-field crop rotation is soybean - corn - corn, the yield of feed units is 10.37 t/ha, protein - 0.66 t/ha, profit is 24,213 UAH/ha with a profitability of 99%.
