At the same time, one of the most important indicators that determine the effectiveness of the operation of this complex is the quality of the commercial ore and the quality of the concentrate. Ukraine occupies one of the first places in the world in terms of iron ore reserves, and at the same time, in many quality parameters, such as: the share of sulfur, phosphorus, silica and iron oxide content in the ore, it is inferior to its competitors. As a result, on the international market, Ukraine incurs large losses on every ton of concentrate and commodity ore. Taking into account the total volume of ore sales (30 million tons), financial losses amount to more than 6 billion hryvnias. The problem of improving the quality of commercial ore and concentrate can be solved through the complex application of methods of operational control and management of the quality of ore material at all stages of mining and processing using nuclear-physical, magnetometric and ultrasonic measurements. The specified approach allows not only to increase the efficiency of technological processes of extraction and processing of iron ore raw materials, but also to expand the raw material base of the country due to the reduction of losses of the useful component and the improvement of the quality of products of mining and beneficiation plants. The paper considers the issue of ensuring the quality of iron ore raw materials in the processes of extraction and processing in the conditions of a mining and beneficiation plant. The technology of operational control by the method of logging and taking into account the factors that affect the accuracy of logging of explosive wells is considered.
