The goal of scientific research is the development of effective methods of detritization of emergency technogenic emissions based on the use of low-temperature hydrophobic palladium catalysts-sorbents. The relevance and importance of the work lies in the fact that low-temperature catalysts, which are able to ensure effective operation in passive mode, are the most promising to ensure the operation of the detritization system of gas emissions in emergency situations. Research method – theoretical calculations and experimental studies. A method of manufacturing and using a tritium sorbent catalyst of the Pd/md type in room temperature passive catalytic reactors (RTR) for tritium oxidation in detritization systems of emergency emissions is proposed. The ability of 2%Pd/md and 3%Pd/NaX sorbent catalysts to passively oxidize tritium to tritiated water at room temperature under conditions of increased hydrogen content and humidity was experimentally confirmed. The practical significance of the presented research lies in the possibility of introducing into the technology of design and creation of detritization systems of emergency emissions into the environment. According to the results of the third stage of the NDR, 2 reports were made at conferences. The results of the NDR can be used by scientists and engineers involved in the development of new technologies for reducing the penetration of man-made tritium from problem areas into the environment. Predictive assumptions regarding the development of the research object - the results of theoretical and experimental studies can become the basis for the creation of effective detritization systems of gas emissions under the influence of emergency factors, in order to prevent radioactive pollution of the environment. Field of application – Nuclear physics and energy. Product Description popup.authors Veremiichenko Heorhii M. Volokh Olena A. Kovalenko Oleksandr V. Fomenko Yurii S. popup.nrat_date 2025-01-22 Close
