 The research work addresses the issues of the peculiarities of the processes of development of the tourism and hospitality industry in the post-war period, as well as the search and development of tools for its recovery in the post-war period. The strategies, methods, tools for the transformation of the tourism industry in the post-war period are considered; the current situation in the tourism industry during the war period is investigated and ways to restore it are proposed, taking into account the negative impact of crisis phenomena on the tourism industry and tourism infrastructure. The strategy of restoring the tourism industry and developing tourism, hotel and restaurant industry through anti-crisis management and marketing tools in the tourism industry is investigated; psychological, rehabilitation and recreational aspects of recovery of victims of military operations; information and business components of post-war development are determined. The conceptual approaches and practical recommendations for the implementation of public marketing mechanisms in the field of tourism and hotel and restaurant business; technological and organizational aspects of management of tourism industry enterprises; personnel management in tourism industry enterprises are considered. The study proves that the promising areas of post-war restoration of the tourism sector in Ukraine are: development of new types of tourism; development and implementation of support programs for tourism entities; ensuring close cooperation between countries in the area of mutual support of tourism activities; increasing the interest of foreign tourists in memorable routes and post-war symbolic places, etc.The strategic guidelines for the restoration of the tourism sector in Ukraine should be the sustainable development of tourism at all levels and the expansion of the tourism services infrastructure based on the experience of other countries that have successfully restored their tourism industries
