Laboratory setups of compact oscillators, power combiners and devices for channeling and radiation of electromagnetic waves have been created. Designs of new metal mesh filters are proposed. A method of semi-infinite slow wave systems analysis has been developed. A technique for determining the dielectric permittivity of a nonhomogeneous plate in a waveguide of arbitrary cross-section has been created. Three groups of eigenoscillations (forward, backward, and hybrid) were found in the frequency vicinity close to the cutoff frequency of spin oscillations for the ferromagnet inhomogeneous layer with periodic grating at one of its boundaries and a graphene on other. The regularities and conditions for the existence of the regimes of high and extremely high coherent Vavilov-Cherenkov and Smith-Purcell radiation have been determined and classified. New designs of multiband polarization plane rotators and circular polarization dividers are proposed. A resonant method of a complex dielectric permittivity measuring has been developed in the microwave range for the solid dielectrics. A non-contact radiophysical method of studying a quantum phenomena in solids at low temperatures using high-Q whispering gallery modes of the disk dielectric resonators as a resonant cell has been developed. Designs of compact wideband low-voltage subterahertz and terahertz vacuum electron devices with oversized electrodynamic structures with increased electron beam-wave interaction efficiency are proposed.
