Object of study: epidermal growth factor, sera from patients with hepatitis C and COVID-19 coronavirus infection with different stages of fibrosis, tyrosine kinase activity inhibitors (TKIs). The purpose of the work is to determine the prognostic value of detecting the level of expression of the epidermal growth factor receptor in viral infections (hepatitis C, B and COVID-19 coronavirus infection) in patients, to search for Her-2 inhibitors. Theoretical value of the work: exclusively for Ukraine, a study was conducted on the frequency of detection of epidermal growth factor (Her-2 positivity), or Her-2 phenotype of hepatitis C and B, their relationship with the development of fibrosis and the search for tyrosine kinase activity inhibitors among flavonoids of natural and synthetic origin. It has been shown that in patients with chronic hepatitis C and B with the development of fibrosis and cirrhosis from F0 to F4, Her-2 positivity increases from 22% to 50%, which confirms the hypothesis of the connection between the formation of cirrhosis and subsequent hepatocellular carcinoma with the activation of the expression of the epidermal growth factor receptor. Scientific novelty of the work - for the first time in Ukraine, an analysis of the detection of Her-2 positivity in sera from patients with acute hepatitis C was conducted. For the first time, a high percentage of 55.5% of Her-2 positivity in blood sera was detected in patients with acute hepatitis C, which may be associated with high mitotic activity of the virus. Her-2 positivity in sera of patients with hepatitis C did not depend on the genotype of the hepatitis C virus. Practical significance of the work: - primers for EGFR and Her-2 were synthesized; - quantitative parameters of Her-2 positivity and negativity for ELISA test systems for diagnosing the presence of Her-2 receptor in patients with hepatitis C and B and coronavirus infection were determin Product Description popup.authors Maryna A.
