The work addresses a set of issues related to in-creasing the efficiency of high-frequency transistor converters for induction heating installations built on the basis of resonant voltage inverters. New methods and algorithms for controlling modular structures have been developed, which have allowed improving output parameters of converters. Latest methods for increasing the efficiency of EMC improvement tools and methods of protection against high-voltage short-term voltage surges of large energy have been developed in order to ensure compliance with the requirements of domestic and international standards. Research results were used in the implementation of the induction heating installation "ВЧІ-5" with a power of 5 kW and a frequency of 66 kHz, which is intended for local induction heating and zone melting of metal parts, and under the design and manufacture of RFI filters for power supply systems of technological equipment.
