The purpose of the study is to improve the national regulatory framework for the valuation of material assets and property of citizens rescued by fire and rescue units during firefighting. Research methods - analytical (analysis of regulatory requirements); methods of mathematical statistics (methods of statistical research, including mass observations, groupings, generalisable indicators, quantitative analysis; methods of correlation and regression analysis). Results and novelty - a draft methodology for determining the value of material assets rescued by fire and rescue units during firefighting was developed, which should become a tool for ensuring reliable accounting of material assets and property of citizens rescued by fire and rescue units during firefighting; analytical materials on fires and their consequences in Ukraine for 2024 were prepared on a monthly basis. Information on implementation - approval of the methodology by the relevant departmental order; publication of analytical materials on fires and their consequences in Ukraine in the open electronic information resource of the Institute. Recommendations for further use of the results of the work - use by the units of the territorial bodies of the SESU when determining the value of material assets rescued by fire and rescue units during firefighting. Scope - activities related to statistical accounting of fires and their consequences in the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Socio-economic efficiency of the work - solving the problem of improving the national regulatory framework for collecting statistical data on fires in terms of ensuring reliable accounting of material assets and property of citizens rescued by fire and rescue units during firefighting.
