Structurally, the work consists of two sections, which consider modern technologies for welding magnesium alloy MA2-1M, both by melting and in the solid phase. The first chapter studies the processes of argon-arc welding with a non-consumable electrode and friction welding with alloy displacement. In the second chapter, the authors consider the influence of welding modes and the chemical composition of intermediate layers on the features of structure formation and mechanical properties of joints obtained by diffusion welding in a vacuum. In the course of the work, the authors determined rational welding conditions and operational properties of the alloy under study. The use of the obtained results in industry will ensure a decrease in metal consumption and the ability of structures to maintain the desired functions over time, under specified modes and conditions of use.
