The purpose of the work is to solve new problems of long-term fracture of structural elements made of viscoelastic materials due to crack propagation, taking into account the presence of cohesive process zones in front of the crack. Based on the approaches of nonlinear fracture mechanics using modern cohesive crack models, methods have been developed for determining the parameters of durability and crack resistance of structural elements made of linear viscoelastic materials. Numerical examples are given. The level of research meets high international standards. The results obtained are not only fundamental but also applied to practice.
