The conducted research allowed for determining the optimal type and thickness of thermal insulation using a multi-criteria analysis. This approach takes into account various factors such as thermal conductivity, insulation efficiency, material costs, and other aspects, which will help reduce the building's energy consumption, enhance living comfort, and lower heating and air conditioning costs. The physical and mathematical models have been improved, and the thermal processes in a thermosiphon collector have been simulated under heating, ventilation, and cooling modes. The proposed design of the external protection of the modular house, incorporating a thermosiphon collector, has proven its effectiveness and its ability to function as an additional thermal ventilation device for maintaining the required indoor conditions. For the heating mode, the maximum thermal power was recorded at Q = 537 W with an air layer thickness of δ = 100 mm and an outlet area of F = 0.056 m². For the ventilation mode, the maximum thermal power was recorded at Q = 662 W with an air layer thickness of δ = 100 mm and an outlet area of F = 0.056 m². For the cooling mode, the maximum thermal (cooling) power was recorded at Q = 388 W with an air layer thickness of δ = 100 mm and an outlet area of F = 0.056 m². The obtained graphical dependencies were analyzed, and it was established that for the thermosiphon collector, it is advisable to use ventilation grilles with an area ranging from 0.05 to 0.06 m².
