The goal of the first stage (2024): Collection and generalization of data on the metal-ore bearing of the Precambrian metaconglomerates of the world. Collection and generalization of all existing disparate materials regarding the Precambrian metaconglomerates of Ukraine and the rock complexes containing them (distribution, stratigraphic position, material composition, lithologic-genetic features, geochemistry, metal content). The obtained results: an overview of ore-bearing Precambrian metaconglomerates of the world was made; general ideas about the Precambrian stratigraphy of the Ukrainian Shield and the place of metaconglomerates in its section are given; the history of the study of metaconglomerates of the Ukrainian Shield is presented; analyzed stratigraphic levels of conglomerate accumulation in the Precambrian of the Ukrainian Shield; the territorial distribution and strength of metaconglomerate sections are shown; specific features of the methodology of studying and diagnosing metaconglomerates; characterized metaconglomerates of the regions and structures of the Ukrainian Shield (lithology, sections, material composition, genesis). The practical significance of the research results: the results of complex mineralogical, geochemical, lithological-stratigraphic, paleofacies, paleotectonic studies should provide the possibility of theoretical justification for the identification of promising areas for the search for industrial deposits of stratiform Th-U mineralization and other minerals. Updated stratigraphic and structural-tectonic schemes can become a reliable basis for the rational distribution and concentration of efforts and funds aimed at the development of natural resources of the Ukrainian shield, ensuring the effective use of budget funds.
