Registration Date 25-01-2025 Organization Institute of the Ukrainian Language of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description1 popup.description2 The main goal of the proposed grammar study is to identify and analyse the most significant changes in the observance of morphological, syntactic and word-formation norms in Ukrainian language practice, which are the result of socio-political processes - the growing trend towards autochthonisation and intensification of purist sentiments that are consistently unfolding in the conditions of independent Ukraine, as well as globalisation influences, active borrowing from the lexicon and sectoral terminology of the Ukrainian literary language. Within the framework of the planned topic, the researchers studied the manifestations of the norms of the three subsystems of the grammatical system of the Ukrainian literary language on the material of journalistic, scientific and official business styles of the modern Ukrainian literary language. The results of the study will serve as a scientific basis for the further development of the theoretical and applied grammar of the Ukrainian literary language. They can also be used in the educational process of higher and general education in Ukraine. The practical significance of the planned topic is the development of recommendations based on the principles of scientific objectivity and grammatical specificity of the Ukrainian literary language, national linguistic experience and modern grammatical theories, which will contribute to the return of specific morphological forms, syntactic constructions and types of word formation to the grammatical system of the Ukrainian literary language of the twenty-first century.
