It was found that the main components of emissions include carbon monoxide (II) - CO, also known as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide (IV) - CO2, carbon dioxide, oxygen - O2, nitrogen - N2, Carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2) are considered harmful emissions, they harm human health and adversely affect the environment. The article summarizes the maximum permissible standards for saturated gas emissions from stationary sources in the technological process of sugar production. Currently, there are no standards for carbon dioxide emissions, but it is stipulated that the environmental tax rate for carbon dioxide emissions is 30 UAH per 1 ton. Since the purified and cooled furnace gas is a saturation gas (surplus) and it is also an exhaust saturation gas after saturators (emissions). Therefore, it is advisable to consider the permissible CO emissions from the saturators in the context of the technological standard of permissible emissions - 15000 mg/m3. An analysis of the technological process factors affecting the amount of harmful emission components (CO, CO2) of the saturation gas was carried out. It is established that the CO content in the saturation gas depends on the following factors: the type of fuel used; the ratio of the size of the fuel : limestone fraction; the shift of the heating zone or firing zone in one direction or another; inhibition of gas extraction from the furnace. It has been analyzed that the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions at a lime-carbonation plant is significantly influenced by the hardware design and construction of carbon jams. Based on the research results, recommendations have been developed to minimize the amount of carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide emissions from the saturation gas into the atmosphere.
