The peculiarities of control and supervision of the activities of non-banking financial institutions, the formation of basic principles and methodological provisions for the construction of control mechanisms for the constructive management of all financial and credit institutions are disclosed. The description of the conceptual foundations of the formation of mechanisms of control and audit of non-banking financial institutions is given. A review of the international experience in the formation of regulation and control mechanisms was conducted. The peculiarities of the development and implementation of the strategy for the development of macroprudential supervision are disclosed. Development trends and regulatory and legislative regulation of the market of credit unions of Ukraine are highlighted. Proposed ways of implementing the experience of European countries in improving the protection of the rights of consumers of non-banking financial services in Ukraine. Financial innovations in the activities of the non-banking financial sector are proposed. The theoretical value of the research results is the developed theoretical and methodological principles of the formation of the control system as a management tool of credit institutions. The applied value of the work results is methodological and applied support for the formation of mechanisms of regulation and control in the conditions of international cooperation.
