Experimental measurements of the dependence of the ratio of coherent and incoherent scattering peaks were carried out on multicomponent standards and samples with a light matrix; samples of blood serum and exudate from gunshot wounds were studied; the volume of studies was up to 10 combatants per week. An X-ray optical scheme for measuring nanoimpurities in biological tissues using an EDXRF spectrometer has been developed; complex secondary targets Ge/Nb and Ge/Ag have been calculated, designed and manufactured. The limits of detection of nanoimpurities were experimentally determined. Using the latest X-ray optical scheme, the influence of the sample preparation method on the sensitivity of nanoimpurity detection was investigated. It has been experimentally proven that to ensure the required detection limit, optimization of the scheme is not enough for liquid samples: plasma and exudate without sample enrichment (only the main trace elements Ca and K were clearly detected; while hair analysis without enrichment gives satisfactory results. For solid samples, an enrichment method through burning of the organic component was also developed. Thus, using the optimized X-ray optical scheme based on complex secondary targets Ge/Nb and Ge/Ag, and the method of sample preparation for X-ray spectral analysis of blood serum and exudate from gunshot wounds, more than 100 samples of biomaterial were examined.
