The obtained hybrid hydrogels will synergistically combine the advantages of natural and synthetic polymers, as well as inorganic fillers, first of all, biocompatibility, biodegradability and safety of use, and improved mechanical properties and the possibility of directional regulation of parameters by changing the chemical composition. In the part of applied research, the aim of the work is to create, on the basis of synthesized hybrid hydrogels, the latest hydrogel conditioners for agricultural soils with a widely controlled hydrophilic-hydrophobic balance, which ensures the balance of the soil ecosystem, optimal water content, improved water-holding capacity, oxygen carrying capacity, prolonging capacity in relation to incorporated nutrients and fertilizers (in particular, macro- and microelements), and the creation of endoprostheses for replacing soft and hard tissues of the human body and materials for filling postoperative cavities with the function of a depot of therapeutic drugs for their prolonged uniform release, as well as scaffolds for bioengineering of tissues of the human body, primarily, bone tissue, with increased biocompatibility and prolonged release of biologically active compounds; in particular, with an atraumatic injection form of administration popup.description2 Methods for the synthesis of hybrid polymers based on chemically and physically cross-linked biocompatible, non-toxic and biodegradable natural polymers (in particular, sodium alginate, pectin, gelatin, agar, gelatin, etc.), synthetic polymers (primarily based on polyvinylformal, in particular, with incorporated acrylic hydrogels), as well as polymeric nanocomposites based on the above natural hydrogels with incorporated inorganic biomaterials (nanoparticles of clay minerals and noble metals) for biomedical and agro-technological research. The synthesized hydrogels based on Acrylamide and its copolymers with Acrylonitrile or Acrylic Acid, physically crosslinked with montmorillonite, demonstrate better thermal stability and structural homogeneity compared to chemically crosslinked materials, as confirmed by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). It was proved that the physical method of synthesis used limited the toxic effects of the components used in the traditional (chemical) method of chemical crosslinking. Hydrogel composites based on sodium alginate and biogenic hydroxyapatite were synthesised by physical crosslinking followed by lyophilisation. X-ray diffraction and infrared spectroscopy data confirmed the presence of a hydroxyapatite crystalline phase incorporated into ionically crosslinked sodium hydroxyalginate. According to SEM studies, porous composites with a complex specific relief were obtained, in the structure of which particles of nanostructured biogenic hydroxyapatite are distributed both throughout the hydrogel volume and on its surface. According to the results of TGA analysis, the absence of the influence of biogenic hydroxyapatite was established. Product Description popup.authors Honcharuk Olena V. Lehenchuk Oleksii V.
