The qualitative and quantitative composition of the excipients, particularly cetostearyl alcohol, Tween 20, Tween 80, glycerin, Olivem 1000, phenoxyethanol, and biologically active substances, was scientifically substantiated. Based on numerous studies, it was found that avocado oil-based cream using Tween as an emulsifier provides a significantly better release of the antimicrobial substances from the cream base and thus provides a better pharmacological effect (wound healing). Along with the development of cream formulations, alternative preclinical experimental studies were conducted to assess the irritant effect in the HET-CAM test. Experimental studies showed that the bases of creams with linseed and olive oils do not cause an irritant effect; a cream containing 45% snail mucin extract (Helix aspersa) based on linseed oil showed a weak irritant effect; a cream containing 45% snail mucin extract (Helix aspersa) based on olive oil did not cause an irritant effect. The results obtained confirmed the safety of the correctly developed formulations of the products, which will be taken as the basis for subsequent studies Product Description popup.authors Kuzminov Borys P.
