It was determined that in the urbanized territory, the coastal zones of water bodies change from weakly to strongly anthropogenically transformed. For the studied water body systems, the diversity of waterfowl and fish correlates with the size of the coastal zone. The impact of urbanization is manifested in an increase in the degree of transformation of the coastal zone with an increase in its size. Among ecosystem services, the socio-cultural category prevails. As a nature-oriented solution, a reduction in the share of impervious cover in the coastal zone is proposed.
