The object of the research is the process of natural assets managment on the blue growth principles. The purpose of the research is the theoretical and methodological substantiation of natural asset management in the context of the transition to a blue economy. Research methods: system and structural analysis, methods of synthesis of scientific knowledge and empirical data, comparative analysis, spatial analysis, economic and statistical methods. During the period of implementation of the research (January 2022 - December 2024), the following results containing scientific novelty was obtained, namely: In the direction: institutional factors of market environment development – a draft concept of the national program for natural asset management in Ukraine was developed, which provides for: determining the state of natural assets, integrating natural assets into municipal infrastructure and service provision processes, taking into account the risk and criticality of natural assets, managing the life cycle of natural assets, as well as a financial strategy for managing them, – in order to create sustainable institutional conditions for the formation and implementation of local authorities' capabilities for managing natural assets, as well as to strengthen the processes of assessing environmental damage caused by the Russian war; – the scientific and methodological approach to the formalized integration of natural assets into the asset management system in accordance with ISO 55000, ISO 55001 and ISO 55002 standards has been improved, within the framework of ensuring relevant management decisions at the level of territorial communities.
