The purpose of the work is to develop recommendations for ensuring gas safety during the operation of gas suction units UVCG-9 and VMCG-7M of the excavation section 1 of the southern panel of block 10 of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE». Research methods are generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematical statistics, calculations using standard methods. As a result of the work, the need for isolated methane removal from the produced space of the southern panel of block 10 of the d4 layer outside the excavation section was substantiated. "Recommendations for ensuring gas safety during the operation of gas suction units UVCG-9 and VMCG-7M of the excavation section 1 of the southern panel of block 10" was developed. The “Project for isolated methane removal from the produced space of the 1st bench of the southern panel of block 10 outside the excavation area by pipeline using gas suction units UVCG-9 and VMCG-7M”, provided by PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE», was approved, subject to the implementation of the developed recommendations for ensuring safety during the operation of gas suction units. As a result of the application of the developed recommendations, the safety of mining operations will be increased, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
