At the same time, the impact of black locust plantations on the properties of edaphotops of artificially formed biogeocenoses remains insufficiently studied, which determines the relevance of scientific research work. The aim of the work is to assess the impact of Robinia pseudoacacia L. plantations on natural and artificially created edaphotops in the steppe zone of Ukraine. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were defined: – to determine changes in the physical properties of edaphotops under the influence of black locust plantations; – to establish changes in the physicochemical properties of edaphotops under the influence of black locust plantations; – to determine changes in the content of nutrients (N, P and K) in edaphotops under the influence of black locust plantations; – to make a forecast of changes in edaphotops under the influence of Robinia vulgaris plantations in the steppe zone of Ukraine. The obtained results of the study provide characteristic features of the influence of Robinia plantations on natural edaphotops of the steppe zone of Ukraine, which is manifested in the deterioration of their physical and physicochemical properties, as well as in the reduction of the content of nutrients. The growth of Robinia plantations on artificial edaphotops contributed to the improvement of its properties, and also led to an increase in nutrient reserves. Thus, on natural edaphotops, if possible, it is advisable to replace Robinia plantations with plantations of tree species that are characterized by a greater degree of favorable impact (sylvatization) on the environment (for example, common oak, field maple, etc.). The creation of robinia plantations is relevant for newly created artificial edaphotops. Product Description popup.authors Horban Vadym A. Hunko Svitlana O. Kotovych Oleksandr V. Lisovets Olena I.
