To study the existing intersectoral issues of the correlation between regulation of intellectual property with antitrust regulation, customs regulation, personal data protection, consumer protection, innovation infrastructure and to identify conceptual frameworks for their solution, based on the peculiarities of the intellectual property, the nature of social relations that arise in the process of creation, protection and use and of the intellectual property rights. To study out the world experience of systematization of IP legislation, features and legal nature of complex regulations as a basis for incorporation of IP legislation. To identify and explore the difference in conceptual approaches to understanding, determining the means, prices and mechanisms of codification in the doctrine of Ukrainian and foreign law. To study the features, conditions, forms and trends of international codification, the place of the agreed unification in this process, which is a form of reflection of opportunities and approaches to a single order of regulation of international agreements, the conditions of commercial turnover; to analyze the experience of drafting and adopting unified laws in force in several states, which is a form of international codification. Analyze the codification work carried out within the European Union. To develop the proposals for the current IP legislation: creation of a unified conceptual apparatus in the field of IP to involve legislation in the resolution of the conflict. popup.description2  Object of study - the status, trends, possible ways and forms of systematization of IP legislation in Ukraine; world practice of systematization of IP legislation. The aim of the study is to analyze the quality of national legislation in the field of IP in terms of its accordance with international standards, criteria of complexity, systematicity, consistency, efficiency; to determine the subject matter, aim, and features of this legislation codification; to study the principles on which incorporation, codification and consolidation should be carried out, and to determine the ways and mechanisms for their harmonization with the principles of state policy in the field of IP in Ukraine. The research methods are general scientific and special legal. The main conceptual approaches to understanding the means, goals and mechanisms of systematization, in particular codification in the doctrine of Ukrainian and foreign law, are determined; inconsistencies of Ukrainian legislation in the field under study with international standards are identified; the main trends in the development of legal protection of IP rights in Ukraine and the EU countries are determined; the role and place of IP rights in the legal system are defined. As a result of the study, the theoretical provisions and conceptual approaches have been formulated which should be taken into account in the process of further improvement of legislation in the field of IP, implementation of Ukrainian legislation with the norms of European legislation in terms of overcoming existing gaps and conflicts in the legal regulation of relations related to the creation, protection, use and defense of the results of creative intellectual activity. Based on the results of the study, the proposals and recommendations for improving the legislation of Ukraine were developed, which were implemented in drafting legislation and teaching activities, and are the basis for further research on intellectual property protection.
