The regulatory and legal regulation of the rehabilitation of combatants and persons with disabilities as a result of war was analyzed. It was established that the regulatory and legal regulation of the rehabilitation of combatants and persons with disabilities as a result of war is regulated in various legislative acts and regulatory and legal d ocuments; a set of laws and subordinate regulatory and legal acts, the fundamental among which is the Military Medical Doctrine of Ukraine. The theoretical principles of determining the rehabilitation of military personnel are substantiated and analyzed - this is an established and complex system of medical, physical, psychological and professional measures aimed at preventing the development of pathological processes that lead to loss of working capacity; effective and early return of military personnel to professional activity. During the analysis of the degree of development of the problem under study, a number of problems were identified due to the specifics of professional activity, in particular, the lack of a unified system for providing rehabilitation assistance to military personnel and veterans. Military personnel and veterans are not always sufficiently informed about the importance of rehabilitation, and the possibility of receiving rehabilitation services depends on the decision of the military medical commission.
