Object of the study: The process of cognitive de-occupation of the population of the liberated territories of Ukraine, its potential risks arising from the prolonged impact on the mentality of the citizens of these territories, caused by the occupation regime. Subject of the study: The theoretical justification and practical development of the methodological support for the process of cognitive de-occupation of the population in the liberated territories of Ukraine. Relevance: It lies in the implementation of the concept of cognitive de-occupation through the capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, based on the conceptual vectors of cognitive resistance and civilizational cognition as resistance elements in the transformational processes of modern civil identity and the restoration of a dignified civil society in the de-occupied territories of Ukraine.
