The purpose of this work is to study the efficiency of sorption removal of ecotoxicants by multifunctional sorbents. The analysis of the sorption capacity of various materials, in particular, natural aluminosilicates, layered double hydroxides (LDH) with different layer composition and interlayer ligands, their calcined forms, potassium zinc hexacyanoferrate and nanocomposites with magnetite on their basis, etc., as adsorbents for the extraction of BM from water environments of the environment. The possibility of effective sorption removal of Co(II) ions from its aqueous solutions on Filtrasorb 300 activated carbon previously modified with iron oxide (III) was studied. The influence of some macro- (Fe (III), Mg(II), Ca(II), Cl-, SO42-, HCO3-, NO3-) and microcomponents of the water matrix on the chemiluminescent determination of Co(II), which has a low detection limit, is shown and is promising for the analysis of natural waters after sorption concentration with magnetite-based sorbents. A hydrothermal method for obtaining homogeneous phases of LDH Ni(II) and Fe(III) with different ratios of components and their oxide compounds is proposed. A study of the sorption properties of the obtained materials with respect to organic pollutants of pharmaceutical origin, using diclofenac sodium as an example, was conducted.
