The research is aimed at identifying the effectiveness of Cossack educational practices in the formation of patriotism, leadership qualities and civic responsibility of the young generation, as well as developing recommendations for the integration of these practices into the modern educational system. popup.description2  The study is dedicated to the analysis and practical implementation of Cossack pedagogy in the modern educational space of Ukraine in the conditions of martial law and post-war recovery. The main findings indicate the high educational potential of Cossack traditions, which contribute to the formation of patriotism, moral values, national identity, and psychological resilience among young people. It has been revealed that applying Cossack pedagogical methods in the educational process strengthens students' civic consciousness and facilitates their adaptation to the challenges of contemporary society. The research results have significant scientific and practical value, as they prove the effectiveness of integrating the principles of Cossack pedagogy into educational programs. Recommendations have been proposed for adapting the historical experience of Cossack upbringing to modern curricula, extracurricular activities, and youth initiatives. In particular, methodological approaches have been developed to enhance students' psychological resilience and social cohesion based on the traditions of Cossack brotherhood, collective responsibility, and self-discipline. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of applying its findings in educational institutions of various levels, military-patriotic education, and social programs aimed at rehabilitating and supporting children and youth in wartime conditions.
