Based on the developed technical specifications, a website of the virtual Competence Center for the use of optimized scientific data (FAIR data) of the Open Data Repository of the NAS of Ukraine DataverseUA was created (https://fair-center.bitp.kyiv.ua/). The website of the virtual Competence Center for FAIR data was filled with methodological and reference materials on the repositories and use of scientific FAIR data hosted in the Open Data Repository of the NAS of Ukraine DataverseUA. A set of documents has been prepared on the functioning of the virtual FAIR Data Competence Center, which is hosted in the Open Data Repository of the NAS of Ukraine DataverseUA, in particular, a FAIR Data Management Plan has been prepared at the NAS of Ukraine. DOI has been obtained during 2025 for scientific data sets from the Open Data Repository of the NAS of Ukraine DataverseUA and preprints from the Preprint Archive of the NAS of Ukraine through the services of the international consortium Global Dataverse Community Consortium based on the account of Kyiv Academic University in the DataCite organization. Training courses have been developed: on FAIR principles, open data management, hosting open data in the Open Data Repository of the NAS of Ukraine DataverseUA to train managers of the Center for Competence of Open Scientific Data (FAIR-data), and training webinars on these topics have been held and relevant presentations have been prepared for training webinars.
