K. Zabolotny of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description1 The development of biotechnology for the accelerated restoration of the ecological state, microbial coenoses and soil fertility, damaged as a result of military actions, based on the use of innovative microbial biopreparations and phytoremediation created by the authors of the project for the agrarian sector of the economy and ensuring food security in Ukraine. The work is devoted to the study of the ecological state, the presence and quantity of pollutants that have entered the soil as a result of hostilities, the determination of the state of the microbiota and the biological activity of damaged arable lands, the development of biotechnologies for detoxification and the return of affected lands to full-fledged land use using microorganisms that destroy toxic substances, and as well as innovative complex microbial biological preparations that activate the growth of remedial plants, increase their resistance to phytopathogens, contribute to the restoration of biodiversity and productivity of agrophytocenoses popup.description2 Functional and taxonomic changes in the soil microbiome during bioremediation of militarily damaged soils were studied. The fermentation processes of microorganisms-bioagents of the developed biological preparations were optimized. In the microbiota of soils damaged by military actions (Bakhmut, Kalynivka and Kharkiv region), a sharp decrease in the number of ammonifying, phosphate-mobilizing, nitrogen-fixing, amylolytic, oligotrophic microorganisms was detected. Nitrogen-fixing, phosphate-mobilizing and amylolytic microorganisms, in particular streptomycetes, were found to be the most sensitive to harmful factors. Indicator indicators for monitoring biodamage were proposed. The effectiveness of bioremediation measures using the created consortium of strains Dietzia maris IMV B-7350, Rhodococcus erythropolis IMV B-7351, Pseudomonas aureofaciens IMV B-7558 and Streptomyces violaceus IMV Ac-5027 for activation and restoration of agronomically useful groups of microorganisms in disturbed soils has been established, which is confirmed by high rates of biodestruction of explosives (hexogen, octogen) - up to 98%. It has been shown that the use of the complex biopreparation Ecovital for inoculation of seeds of remediant plants in combination with the treatment of damaged soil with the developed composition of microbial preparations to the greatest extent eliminated the harmful impact of pollutants on agrophytocenosis and contributed to the increase in the functional and taxonomic biodiversity of soil prokaryotes. Biotechnology for accelerated restoration of biological activity of soils affected by military operations was successfully implemented in the elimination of the consequences of damage caused by ammunition explosions on the territory of the RENO LLC enterprise. After cleaning the soil from hexogen, its total amount decreased almost 4 times: from 24.7 ng/g of soil to 6.7 ng/g of soil (site No. 2) and from 57.5 ng/g of soil to 15.5 ng/g (site No. 3).
