The purpose of the work is to develop recommendations for ensuring gas and endogenous fire safety in the workings of the dismantling section 5 of the northern slope of slope No. 2 of the l1 layer during the continuation of the work on dismantling the equipment and isolating the excavation section of LLC "Mine 1-3 "Novogrodivska". Research methods are generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematical statistics, calculations using standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining characteristics of the dismantling section 5 of the northern slope of slope No. 2 of the l1 layer of LLC "Mine 1-3 "Novogrodivska" were analyzed. Recommendations have been developed to ensure gas and endogenous fire safety in the workings of the dismantling section 5 of the northern slope of slope No. 2 of the l1 layer for the duration of the work on dismantling the equipment and isolating the excavation section of LLC "Mine 1-3 "Novogrodivska". It has been agreed to extend the period for dismantling the equipment and isolating the spent excavation section 5 of the northern slope of slope No. 2 of the l1 layer of LLC "Mine 1-3 "Novogrodivska" until December 31, 2024, subject to the implementation of the developed recommendations for ensuring gas and endogenous fire safety.
