Head Malykhin Serhii V., Доктор фізико-математичних наук Registration Date 02-02-2025 Organization National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" popup.description1 The purpose of the work is to establish new effects and regularities of the interaction of W/Ti-Zr-Ni quasi-crystalline functional film systems on the steel surface and hydrogen plasma of a thermonuclear reactor and hydrogen and helium ions; determination of a better and more radiation-resistant construction of a layered system. popup.description2  During the first stage, the choice of modes of radiation and thermal plasma irradiation of coating samples with the quasi-stationary plasma accelerator KSPP X-50 was carried out. The structure of the experimental samples of layered coatings “alloy of Ti41Zr41Ni18/tungsten” in the initial state (before plasma irradiation) after application by magnetron sputtering and after subsequent annealing in a vacuum furnace was studied. It was found that during 1-hour annealing in the temperature range from 500°C to 700°C structural changes occurred only in the Ti41Zr41Ni18 layers of multilayer periodic Ti41Zr41Ni18/W coatings. The phase transformation quasicrystal → crystalline approximant 2/1, which occurred at 700°C, was accompanied by an increase in volume by 8.3% compared to the volume of the initial quasicrystalline phase. The tungsten layers did not undergo any significant changes. The combination of materials used and the annealing temperatures used did not result in mechanical damage. After magnetron deposition in two-layer compositions, significant compressive stresses (-1...2.5 GPa) were present in the tungsten layers. In a tungsten coating on a steel substrate, the stresses were -3.2 GPa, and after annealing at 480°С for 60 hours, their level increased to -4.2 GPa.
